One Day Event with American Red Cross! Large-scale Smoke Alarm Installation Event- Sound the Alarm

ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - North Texas Region

As part of the Red Cross Sound The Alarm event, you will volunteer along side our local Fire Department firefighters as we visit residents in their homes to conduct fire safety education and install smoke alarms. The Sound the Alarm campaign focuses on increasing the use of smoke alarms in at-risk neighborhoods and encourages everyone to practice their fire escape plans.

Volunteers will be organized into teams that will consist of 1 Smoke Alarm Installer, 1 Safety Educator and 1 Document Recorder.

Previous experience is not required, on-sight training will be provided.
