For those volunteering at event, please DO NOT bring your own dogs with you. Information packets will be e-mailed to you about 5 days before the event. Please also note that volunteers will have to pay for their own parking at garages/meters around the event. Unfortunately, OHS cannot reimburse for this, but it is a tax deductible expense!

We are hosting a phone bank to collect Doggie Dash donations. During the news segments on FOX 12 we will be filming live for some segments from the phone bank, so you may be seen on TV. You will be at the phone bank taking calls and accurately entering the caller's information on a computer. You must be able to concentrate on the caller with a lot of noisy activity going on around you. Accurate and proficient typing, comfort navigating webpages and webforms, as well as courtesy phone skills, and outgoing personalities are a must for this position. Absolutely must be able to smile when on camera!

Special for Phone Bank Volunteers only: This is one of the few times we want you to bring your well-behaved dog to volunteer with you! We need well-behaved pets of all types, sizes and ages (including house trained dogs, but we are only allowed to have two large dogs per shift and other animals need to be able to sit on the tables as space is tight in the studio) of all ages to sit on the phone bank during the show. Volunteers bringing their dogs need to have a plan in case their dog is not behaving. Please let us know if you plan to bring your pet and what their breed, size and name is.
