Direct Patient Care Volunteers at Mercy Hospice-Johnston
Mercy Hospice Direct Patient Care Volunteers work with our nursing staff to provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to hospice patients in our inpatient facility in Johnston, Iowa. These services range from assisting with bathing, toileting, preparing meals and feeding, or providing companionship. - We ask that you commit to a volunteer period of one year minimum. However, there is no set amount of hours you must volunteer. Schedules and availability will discussed at initial interview.
