Love INC's Clearinghouse volunteers play a vital role in the ministry of Love INC. Each day, Love INC volunteers from local churches meet the needs of their neighbors in the Name of Christ. The role of the Clearinghouse Intake Volunteer is to explore and seek to understand the needs of the neighbors who call, in order to connect them with church resources and point them to Christ. Volunteers would complete the intake form with new clients by phone. They would also conduct follow up calls to clients and church volunteers. This volunteer role is for one morning or afternoon, weekly.

Description
Love INC of Lancaster County was formed in 1993, and today there are over 160 churches representing 24 different denominations countywide partnering as the local affiliate of Love INC. Love INC serves as the place where needs identified by social service agencies, ministry partners, other churches, and the community at large can be referred, assessed, and connected to partner congregations ready to respond. Love INC volunteers serve their neighbors in need in a variety of ways including transportation, home care and repair, and non-medical respite care, as well as shelter and support through Homes of Hope, a transitional housing program for families with school-aged children
