Would you like experience teaching students environmental science? Come be a field trip volunteer/Docent at the Biodiversity Education center. Environmental Education Volunteers/Docents are a committed group of volunteers who receive additional training to take a leadership role with certain programs. Volunteers must have completed Docent training to sign up for the activities below.

The BEC at CNP promotes and provides hands-on environmental education programs for both school and community, developing a deeper connection to nature.

Description

The Biodiversity Education Center offers a wide variety of community programs for all ages including environmental and gardening education classes, outdoor recreation, tours, and community improvement days. The Friends of the Coppell Nature Park, ​City of Coppell, Keep Coppell Beautiful, Coppell ISD, and Northlake College, work collectively to offer exceptional environmental education programs.​​​
