Help make a difference with FOT, Beyond Toxics, and REI Earth Day 2019! We will be hosting a work party in West Eugene along the multi-use path on Roosevelt Blvd that follows Amazon Creek. Volunteers will help weed, mulch, prune, and re-stake young trees along this path. Meet us at the intersection of Fergus Ave and Roosevelt Blvd, Eugene. Parking is available along Fergus Ave. 2-4pm.
Our partners at REI will be on site with information about REI classes and some sweet coupons. Following this work party event, volunteers are encouraged to join FOT staff on an environmental justice tree walk through the adjoining neighborhood to talk about wetland restoration projects, tree identification, and ecological history. 4-5:30pm.
