The Finance Volunteer will be part of the team to implement a rigorous project that will be running from April to November 2019 and will be responsible maintaining an accurate accounting function.
The Finance Volunteer will be responsible for:
- Managing accountability
- Writing payment vouchers for approved payments
- Preparation of approved payments
- Banking cash and cheque deposits
- Petty cash management
- Preparing financial reports

Our mission is to create awareness through information dissemination, psycho-social and nutritional support to cancer patients, care givers and the general public in Uganda.
Description
The Cancer Information and Support Society of Uganda is a not for profit organization founded in 2012 with a vision of seeing a cancer free Uganda. We use social media, newspapers, magazines, radio and TV to educate people on how to reduce their risk of cancer and how cancer can be found early through screening tests. Our support services help people with cancer and their loved ones with psycho-social support, nutritional support and legal services at a time when they are in dire need. We advocate to government on important cancer-related issues on behalf of those affected by cancer.
