APAH is seeking volunteers to provide and maintain safe, supervised spaces for children while their parents attend onsite groups or meetings scheduled at various times throughout the year. Parent activities generally occur on weekday evenings and occasionally during the day.
Qualifications
No specific skills or experience needed, though we appreciate experience with children. Must be at least 18 years of age. Desired qualifications include:
- Desire to work with children of various ages and abilities
- Ability to work with staff, volunteers, and residents with a variety of racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, lifestyles, and sexual orientations
- Ability to be nonjudgmental, resourceful, creative, consistent and flexible

Description
Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) is a private, nonprofit housing organization founded in 1989 dedicated to providing affordable rental homes in Arlington. We also provide educational, employment, financial and recreational programs for the adults and children living in APAH properties, as well as emergency rental assistance.
