Are you looking for a chance to give back to the community and to make a huge difference in people's lives? Southwest Valley Literacy Association is looking for volunteers to teach English to non-English speaking adults.

This two-hour once-a-week commitment can bring you the fulfillment of a lifetime. You do not need to speak any other language than English, nor do you need teaching experience. Because of the minimum one-year time commitment, we only offer training to year-round residents.

The last certification class of the season takes place in June. Upon completion of the two-day workshop you will receive certification by ProLiteracy America as an ESL tutor. After certification, you will be matched up with your students.

More information about our tutor training and online registration for this session is available at www.swvalleyliteracy.org. Our tutors make a difference in someone’s future by giving them the gift of language. Will you join us and help change lives?
