Volunteers provide critical support for our day-to-day work while truly making a difference in their communities. Our organization has been supported by over 700 dedicated volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, totaling 4,368 hours in 2018 alone. We invite you to JOIN us as a volunteer to help us move Orange County forward!

We are looking for volunteers to support us as follows:

  • Interpreters (English to Spanish)
  • Traffic Control (Guiding Applicants)
  • Registration (Appointments)
  • Check-In (Volunteers)
  • Information (Walk-ins / no appointments)
  • Intake
  • N-400 (Application) 18 yrs+ Bilingual
  • Fee-Waiver (Application)
  • Copies
  • Packaging
  • Education (Classes and Material)

Founded as a community-labor alliance in 2005, Orange County Communities Organized for Responsible Development (OCCORD) is a community-based non-profit organization that advances the rights and improves the lives of working families of Orange County. By utilizing a comprehensive approach through organizing, research, advocacy, and free citizenship fairs, OCCORD works toward a long term transformation of Orange County by bringing together local leaders and strategic partners to ensure that economic development benefits everyone.
