Sustainability Outreach Volunteers Needed

Sustainable Contra Costa has an immediate need for outreach volunteers to help promote the Cleaner Contra Costa Challenge this Fall.

The Cleaner Contra Costa Challenge is a collaborative initiative helping students, community groups, and employers reduce carbon emissions. Using an online tool, participants measure their carbon footprint, find local resources, create a personal action plan, and track progress on reducing our individual and collective climate impact.

We are excited to launch this sustainable living platform in 2019. One of the main ways we connect with people about the Challenge is by setting up a table at street fairs, Earth Day festivals, farmer's markets and other public events.

Please consider being part of our family of fun and inspired volunteers by taking a shift or tabling with this year's Cleaner Contra Costa Challenge!

It's really fun and easy to come out to meet people at our table, and you do NOT need to be an expert in any particular field! We will guide you in this effort and provide all the info you need to sharewith the nice people you meet.

PLEASE DON'T DELAY as we have many tabling events lined up and they begin soon, so the sooner we know who will staff them, the better. I hope to hear from you, and THANK YOU VERY MUCH for considering this opportunity to connect with people and be of service to the planet and our local community!
