We have a fun opportunity for one or more people who have previous experience with organizational vehicles. We need one or more special people to care for our small fleet of vehicles. Responsibilities will include regular tracking and monitoring of our vehicles including tracking mileage and checking inspection and other required service needs; checking fluid levels and windshields for repairs, including wiper blade wear; monitoring the condition and inflation of tires and the interior/exterior of the vehicles; and handling vehicle visits to the local CAR POOL, when needed. This/these special people will also assist with getting the vehicle to and from maintenance appointments, when needed.
This position requires a valid Virginia Driver's License, a safe driving record, a basic knowledge and comfort with vehicles. We also prefer dependability, reliability and the ability to volunteer on a regular schedule (to be set ahead of time, at the convenience of the volunteer). DMV record check and background check required.
