Tejas First Hospice is looking for volunteers to help add some quality of life to very sick people. To give them hope and to enjoy life as much as they can as they go through this difficult journey.
And you can do this by playing board games, reading a book, playing cards, music etc. Or allowing them to discuss their life review and being a listening ear. There are so many ways your presence and activities can make their day.
We have several volunteer opportunities. Social visits with patients, office work, party planning, help plan legacy projects for our patients, pet therapy, childrens music.

- Background Check
- We appreciate any time you are able to give. Most volunteers visit patients once a week or twice a month.
- Only requirements are that you pass a background check, have a DL, SS, and be at least 18 yrs. of age. If not, a parent or guardian to sign permission slip, and be responsible for children ages 15-18 years of age.
