We are currently looking for an instructor for our new class project, 'Learning History Through Film.' The instructor will collaborate with EDONATION to devise and teach a 6-week class. The instructor is expected to commit 2~3 hours for the class each week. (*The class schedule and the dates are very flexible and subject to change. We will do our best to work with your schedule.)

The purpose of our class would be to open up students' eyes to history through film. Each class is expected to be a mixture of film screening and a historical lecture. An example of how the class may proceed is as follows:

-The instructor starts the class with a brief introduction about a particular historical era.
-The students would then watch a piece of an edited piece of the historical film that is related to the contents of the class.
-The students would then engage in a facilitated discussion about historical topics.

Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

We are reaching out from EDONATION, a student-led non-profit organization dedicated to educational equity. We have been organizing various class projects such as college consulting, debating class for high school students and history classes for young children.
