Allies for Immigrants ESOL Corps is geared towards getting volunteers into ESOL classrooms to help tutor, lead conversation groups, help with writing, aid the teachers, and other activities. No prior experience in ESOL teaching or tutoring is necessary, but it is definitely a plus!
We are looking for volunteers in the following program:
Where : Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center- Quincy
When: Mondays
Times: 10-12:30 or 6-8:30 PM
Volunteers are required to commit to 2 days a month.

The mission of English for New Bostonians is to increase access to high-quality English language learning opportunities for adult immigrant residents of Boston.
Description
English for New Bostonians (ENB) is a public-private-community collaboration addressing the urgent need for increased English language learning opportunities for adult immigrants in Boston. Comprised of the City of Boston, foundations, corporations, non-profits, and community organizations, ENB works to support high-quality, accessible ESOL programs; to expand Boston’s capacity to serve English language learners; to test new strategies to reach learners at home, in the community, and at work; to encourage new investment by diverse stakeholders; to heighten awareness about the importance of adult English language learning; and to support the development of a coordinated ESOL system in Boston.
