Is 2025 the year that you make a difference?
Do you feel that life seems to have a greater purpose when you volunteer your time and your heart to help others? Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and/or their families at local healthcare facilities or in their personal home in the areas of Holliston, Medfield, Medway,Walpole, Norwood and Canton. Volunteers are there to listen and talk, read a book, play cards or watch a favorite t.v. show. Volunteers also provide special support including playing music or working on craft projects. No matter what your skills, talents or motivation, we have the opportunity for you to help!
*Companionship volunteers do not perform any clinical activities with a patient such as feeding, toileting, bathing or transferring.
*Volunteers schedule their own visits - day/time.
*Volunteers receive training.
