We are seeking volunteers to provide vocational training for our after-school program. If you have the experience necessary to teach students in the following vocations, please reach out:

  • Bike repair
  • Silk-screen printing
  • Appliance repair
  • Barbering
  • Boat repair
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Cyber security
  • Carpentry
  • Landscaping
  • Roofing
  • General contracting
  • Sheetrock/drywall
  • Forklift operation
  • HVAC
Our after-school program is Mondays and Tuesdays from 4pm to 6pm. We are also accepting volunteer applications for our full-day Pathways program, which runs Monday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm.

Description

Project LIFT’s primary mission is to invest in the lives of at-risk male teens ages 14-19. The boy's program offers hope for members struggling with substance abuse, lack of support and academic failures. At no cost to members, the program offers mental health/substance abuse therapy, vocational skills training and mentoring. Licensed therapists and skilled volunteers work to help them replace negative behaviors with self-esteem, skill development and positive goals for the future.
