Mission Statement
To provide US Veterans access to free gardening services at home or within their communities. We partner with established organizations that are already working with Veterans to provide support so they can focus on their missions. We also work directly with Veterans in their homes.
Description
Founded in 2018, Heroic Gardens serves US Veterans and their families in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware and Berks. As well as Southeastern New Jersey and Delaware. We formed Heroic Gardens as a way to honor our military. We are outdoor enthusiasts who have felt the powerful healing that building and existing with a garden can provide. Often veterans don't have the funds or the know how to get started. That's where we come in. We'll help them obtain access to the knowledge, tools and materials they need. We can even help them design an area of the property. Veterans can have a garden inside or outside of their homes - it's really up to them. Come get your hands dirty with us!
