If you are a Christian individual or part of a Christian group, we would love to have you at Sloan's Lake Rehabilitation Center! We are a temporary home for 52+ individuals as they complete physical and occupational rehabilitation before they return home, and many of our people are looking for a sympathetic Christian ear, to talk with, pray with, or read the Bible with. For this position, you would set your own volunteer schedule (some people come multiple times per week, and others come once a month-- it's up to you!), and go visit with patients you'd find on a list from the activities director. This would be a constantly updated list of patients who are interested in Christian visits, so you know that you will be very welcome in rooms when you drop by! Application, orientation and background check can all be completed online, and you can be volunteering within about a week! Description
We are a new, 45-bed rehabilitation center on the shores of Sloan's Lake in Denver. We look forward to bringing in volunteers to help our residents have a more pleasant stay while they're with us.
