Opportunity 2: Environmental Fun Fair Saturday May 4th 10 AM-2 PM

This event is a collaboration between Springbrook, the City of Fridley and Anoka County 4H. This free public event will be a mix of activities including environmental organizations in an exhibit area, interactive outdoor activities, and a Fix-It Clinic. For more info check out the attached flyer! We would love some help hosting the following stations:

  • Pond dipping (catching bugs at square floating dock) - 2 volunteers
  • Forest Floor exploring - 1 volunteer
  • Renewable Energy Village (includes solar cooking, solar car activity, pinwheel/wind craft, training provided!) - 1-2 volunteers

If you are able work part of the event, but not all of it, let me know - we can probably arrange shifts or something similar as needed! We will also be able to provide a modest lunch for volunteers, and you are, of course, welcome to bring something of your own as well.
