The Arlington Public Library offers a variety of free technology classes. We are currently looking for the following instructors and class assistants:

Instructors: Must be very knowledgeable with the course material and comfortable leading a class of up to 10 adult students. Depending on the course, Library staff may already have the course content developed or ask for assistance.

  • Computers and Internet Basics
  • MS Word
  • MS PowerPoint
  • MS Excel
  • Social Media - Privacy and security
  • Open to other tech class suggestions

Assistants: Must be comfortable with the course material and assisting up to 10 adult students in a class led by an instructor.

Volunteers for tech classes are typically needed 6:30 - 9 weeknights, Monday - Thursday and are asked to commit to 2 1/2 - 9 hours per month.

  • Classes are ~ 2 hours long with some set up and breakdown tasks needed. Volunteers are asked to commit to 1 class per month (~ 2 1/2 hours) to 3 classes per month (9 hours)
