The Alzheimer's Association Desert Southwest Chapter offers Education Conferences annually across Arizona and southern Nevada. This is a comprehensive event dedicated to Alzheimer's disease research, education, and caregiver support. Each conference is a full day of workshops and lectures with updates on the latest advancements in Alzheimer's research, community resources, and ways to increase the quality of life for both the individual and the caregiver. CEUs are available for professionals.

We need Volunteers throughout the day to help this event run smoothly. The Volunteer jobs include event set-up, traffic direction, registering people, introducing speaker; being sure to assist them with keeping track of time and handing out/collecting evaluations and event take down.

The Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is a charitable organization governed by a local board of directors. While we are an affiliate of the National Alzheimer's Association based in Chicago, all our work is devoted to providing service and support to Alzheimer's patients, family members and caregivers throughout Nevada.

Our Purpose To empower and support individuals, families, care partners and communities affected by dementia in Arizona and southern Nevada.
