The Duncanville Public Library is partnering with the United Way and KERA to offer a literacy event on June 8th. The event will have food trucks that participants will be able to access for free, inflatable activities, crafts and other fun literacy games and story times. Community partners will be invited to have booths at the event. We are looking for volunteers who love working with children.

The library is more than books. Since our doors opened in 1955 we have provided our community with opportunities to broaden their worldview knowledge. We provide programs for all ages and all interests. We strive to be innovative in the services that we offer. The library is successful because we have skilled volunteers and employees who bring enthusiasm and dedication to work with them.
