Heart to Heart Hospice of Southgate is looking for compassionate, caring and motivated volunteers to visit our patients. Heart to Heart Hospice provides compassionate customer service to our patients and our volunteers do exactly the same.
Volunteers can be expected to have casual conversation with our patients, play games, watch tv, or simply BE with our patients as companions providing comfort in their time of need. Often they want to hear about your life experiences. Perhaps your lives will parallel in similar ways.
As a volunteer, you are able to provide caregivers a break so that they can handle normal day to day tasks that get pushed to the way side. Your time is appreciated by not only the patient, but their families too.

Description
Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
