Arboretum Ambassadors serve as the front lines of the Arboretum when it comes to a visitors experience and are critical to helping maintain the flow, satisfaction, and memorable customer service that we are known for providing to visitors at the Arboretum. Ambassadors are similar to Welcome Center Greeters but are more than just friendly faces behind a desk. You are one of the most important pieces in making sure that visitors feel excited to come back for another visit and to discuss the importance of supporting our mission through a donation or membership to the Arboretum.

A lush 40-acre non-profit Arboretum and Botanic Garden located directly east of Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa.

- Orientation or Training
- Ambassadors are scheduled for a minimum of two hour-long shifts. Ambassadors may sign up for as many or as few shifts as they would like to work during the season. Shifts typically are Monday, 5-7 PM; Tuesday-Saturday 9-11; and Sunday, 5-7 PM.
- Ambassadors are not expected to wear Arboretum branded materials, however, it is encouraged for those who have them. Clothing cannot contain vulgarity or profanity. Materials such as name tags will be provided by the Arboretum when possible.
