Community Support Advocates will be providing supplies for young artists to create their very own Artist Trading Card (ATC)- which are miniature works of art meant to be traded with other artists. We encourage visitors to make up to 3 ATCs and then challenge them to trade at least 1 with another visitor or friend. The intention is to meet and connect with their community, as well as have a unique memento of the Iowa State Fair.

Volunteers will be in charge of maintaining a creative workspace and laminating the finished project. Responsibilities include: organizing art supplies, explaining the concept of the Artist Trading Cards, providing encouragement or inspiration to artists, and laminating cards. You must register by creating a profile on our volunteer website https://volunteer.teamcsa.org/need/detail/?need_id=412436

BONUS! As a volunteer, not only will you receive a ticket to enter the fair, but we will have special volunteer parking passes that will grant you access to closer parking! A volunteer Packet Pickup meeting will be on August 3 from 11-3pm where all volunteers can grab their tickets, fair information, and Tshirts. Pick up will be at our Momentum Studio at 900 Keo Way, located on the first floor of Mainframe Studios
