Our Veterans Resource Center is in need of a personable, energetic person who has good office skills to provide clerical assistance. Some of the duties include maintaining the database using Google sheets, calling veterans, sending emails, coordinating venues for events, and possibly doing outreach to local agencies. We will provide volunteer training in veteran benefits and interacting with veterans. This is a rewarding position as we are helping our veterans who are seeking assistance. We also educate the community about the struggles some of our veterans face on a daily basis. Some of the programs this position will be involved in include the Women Veterans Circle, tabling yearly events such as Veterans Day Celebration, the ELA Health Clinic Open House, and the Library's College Fair.

The ideal candidate must be available for at least four hours/week during these times, Monday-Thursday between 10 am and 6 pm.
