Interfaith Action of Central Texas is currently seeking volunteers for our annual Hope Awards Gala, taking place Tuesday, April 30 th at the Bullock Texas State History Museum.
The event will run from 6pm-9pm and we are looking for volunteers from as early as 3:30pm until 9:30pm that evening. Parking will be free, and dinner will be provided!
Jobs include greeting guests, helping with registration, running silent auction, helping out with the photo booth, and more!
In addition, we’re seeking ultra tech-savvy volunteers who can help guests utilize our mobile bidding software, GiveSmart, throughout the night. If you know your way around an iPad and are able to come early that evening to get a short training on the software-this is for you!
If you want to help with Hope Awards but are unavailable that evening, we will have some event preparation opportunities at our offices leading up to the event.
Please register to volunteer via the web form here: https://rebrand.ly/mert333

Mission Statement
iACT cultivates peace and respect through interfaith dialogue, service and celebration.
Description
iACT's mission is to cultivate peace and respect through interfaith service, celebration, and dialogue. This mission is realized every day through our three programs: Red Bench, iACT for Refugees, and Hands on Housing.
iACT for Refugees: The only federally approved program providing ESL and cultural orientation classes to newly arrived refugees in the Austin area.
Red Bench: This dialogue series fosters unity by allowing people to meet others from different faith backgrounds, discover shared values and find common ground.
Hands on Housing: Austin's largest volunteer-based housing rehabilitation program provides critical home repairs to impoverished senior citizens, disabled individuals, and single parent households.
iACT also hosts several celebrations throughout the year, including the Hope Awards, A Night Under One Sky, and the Interfaith Day of Thanks Service and Celebration.
