Campground volunteers needed to live and work at Mt. Ascutney State Park. The park contains a campground, scenic parkway, cabin rentals opening in 2019, four base-to-summit hiking trails, picnic pavilion, mountain bike trails and other features. Full hookup campsite adjacent to newly renovated park restroom given in exchange for 30 hours per week. Volunteers assist the park staff with the operation and maintenance of the park and are the emergency point of contact on the park manager's day off. Description
Vermont State Parks was founded in 1924 and provided developed and dispersed recreational experiences in over 55 locations throughout Vermont. We operate campgrounds and beaches, hiking and biking trails, nature centers and school programs, rent boats and provide places for people to run, hike, ski, snowshoe, relax and enjoy nature year-round.
