Join the ranks to help save lives. Join the Summer Youth Corps program today! Gain valuable work experience to prepare you for the future. Spend your summer in a meaningful way by giving back to the community.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet blood donors at local blood drives
Make reminder calls, reschedule donor appointments, and perform follow-up activities
Model excellent customer service behaviors
Attend to donors in the hospitality area - hand out snacks and juice
Set up and maintain cleanliness in the reception and hospitality areas
Qualifications:
Willingness to support the American Red Cross mission
For ages 13-24 years old
Ability to display the utmost professionalism and communication skills
Ability to represent the American Red Cross to the community
Time Commitment:
Must volunteer for 10 shifts between May 1 - August 31 (Shifts are 4-6 hours each)
Most blood drives take place between Monday - Friday
