Hospice Attic volunteers play a vital role in the day-to-day operations at two upscale resale thrift stores. Volunteers earn gift certificates and are the first to see the newest treasures. One hundred percent of sales directly benefits un-funded patient care, bereavement and community outreach programs. Volunteers accept donated items and prepare them for sale, design and set up eye-catching displays, and assist with customer service and sales. Retail experience is a plus but is not required. This opportunity has locations in Gainesville and Lake City. A two-hour training session is required. Ages 14 and up are welcome to volunteer.
