Do you love dogs? Do you want to make a difference for dogs in need? We have a perfect opportunity for you!
Our animal shelter is looking for volunteers to help us in various day-to-day tasks around the facility. This could include:
-Feeding dogs
-Walking dogs
-Cleaning kennels
-Taking photos of dogs
We are looking for bright, responsible, and passionate animal lovers to join our crew!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote humane treatment of animals, finding good homes for unwanted, displaced or abandoned dogs and cats, and educating the public about how to be a responsible pet owner which includes spaying and neutering to help control the animal population. We work to accomplish our mission by sponsoring spay-neuter clinics, conducting transports, attending community events, and collaborating with local officials.
Description
The Humane Society of the Delta (HSD) is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill organization formed in March of 2008 as a result of the compassion of local concerned citizens, who recognized the immediate need to advocate for the humane treatment of animals. We operate solely on donations (tax deductible) from people like you.

- We require at least a once-a-week commitment. We would love to have consistent volunteers, so several days per week would be appreciated.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation, and the ability to get to the shelter on time, and on the days you say you will be there.
