This volunteer position is ideal for someone who has a social work background or similar experience.

Our social work team is in need of an administrative assistant to work directly with our Director of Social Services. This is an important volunteer position as you will be working with patients, families, and our office staff to ensure that we provide the best possible care and support for our patients. Weekly tasks may include:

  • Working with the Director of Social Services to manage and audit social work and chaplain caseloads
  • Assist in our Veterans Program to print, frame, and ensure delivery of our Veteran Certificates
  • Working with our Path Program to track and follow-up with patients and families who have "graduated" from Hospice and provide ongoing support
  • General office work including filing, emails, phone calls, and support for the social work department

Qualifications needed: word and excel abilities, excellent communication skills, and dependability.
