Community Corporation is a nonprofit organization based in Santa Monica. Our mission is to improve lives and neighborhoods by providing quality affordable housing to low-income households. We serve a very diverse set of people and occasionally have needs to translate into Farsi, as we have many Farsi speaking residents. Opportunities may be translating at a community meeting or a one-on-one meeting with a resident.

Description
Community Corporation of Santa Monica is a locally based, non-profit organization committed to developing and managing affordable housing in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. A key mission of the organization is to provide housing to lower wage working families. Since its inception in 1982, CCSM has developed over 1500 units of permanent affordable housing in Santa Monica. It currently provides housing to approximately 3,300 people.
In 2006 its Resident Services Department began providing referral services, group workshops and presentations, onsite programming and community outreach. CCSM uses its On-Site Resident Services Volunteer Program as a means of engaging and improving the quality of life of these residents.
