The Sound to Narrows volunteer team is looking for community members to support the 2019 Sound to Narrows run. It’s the many hands that generously donate time and talent to this event that allow us to meet our goals in support of healthy children and families in our community. The Sound to Narrows is a fun, rewarding and a great opportunity to give back. This year our event is held on Saturday, June 8 th . From finish line monitors, to water stations, to course marshals, to cheering for our runners - there is something for everyone! Volunteers can also expect a free t-shirt, snacks and a ton of fun. We've been caring for our community for well over a century, since the founding of Tacoma's first hospital. And today, we are the largest community-based, locally governed health system in the state of Washington.
Our comprehensive system of health includes numerous primary care, urgent care and specialty services - including Immediate Clinic, MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care, Pulse Heart Institute and MultiCare Rockwood Clinic, the largest multispecialty clinic in the Inland Northwest region.
