Forbes Hospital provides therapeutic recreation to patients to enhance physical, emotional, and social well being through our Pet Therapy Program.

Therapy dogs must be:

• A certified Therapy Dog
• Current Vaccinations - rabies, distemper, leptospirosis and parovirus.
• One year of age or older
• Must be in a permanent home for 6+months

To join our team you will need to complete the following:

• Submit a completed Volunteer application - https://www.ahn.org/volunteer-application
• Successful completion of volunteer orientation.
• Complete two-step TB screening - this can be done at no cost at Forbes Hospital.
• Pass a criminal background check.
