Looking for a way to make a difference? More comfortable working behind the scenes? Are you organized? Have computer skills? Enjoy Facebook, Craigslist and LinkedIn? Your skills can provide our hospice team more visibility and become more effective.

We are looking for assistance at our east side Indianapolis office. Tasks may include compiling marketing materials, organizing supplies, making routine calls, loading cars with nursing supplies, assisting the volunteer coordinator with orientation, creating computer documents, building/maintaining social media sites or creating memory pillow kits for sewing volunteers.

Here are the steps to joining our team:

  • Application - click on document below!
  • Interview - to discuss your interests and availability as well as opportunities to serve
  • References from at least two adults who know you well
  • Background check - no charge. Proof of citizenship will be needed.
  • TB Screening - A two-step screening and one TB test annually are required upon acceptance into the Hospice Heritage Volunteer Program (no charge)
  • Orientation Training - Introduction to hospice and our team.

Office assistance can fit your schedule, though typically the office is open 9 am to 5 pm.
