The Child Care Action Council is a non-profit agency whose mission is to promote and nurture early learning communities where children and families thrive. Our Raising A Reader program is an evidence-based, early literacy program that helps families of young children (birth through age five) develop, practice, and maintain habits of reading together at home.
Support our Raising A Reader program by volunteering with our program's library maintenance; clean and sort books and book bags to be stored until the fall. Help for one afternoon, or come each week. This is a great opportunity for both groups and individuals to support early literacy in the community!More opportunities with Child Care Action Council
