Crisis Chat is online emotional support for anyone who is depressed, despairing or thinking about suicide. Crisis Chat allows those seeking support to communicate with a Crisis Chat Specialist while protecting their anonymity and confidentiality.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Provides online emotional support and crisis intervention services via chat
- Assists clients and family members in decision-making by providing information about service choices
- Maintains high standards of ethical and professional conduct in terms of privacy of client information
- Complies with policies and procedures governing the program and agency
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed by supervisor

FrontLine is committed to seeking out and serving those in our community who are most vulnerable: children traumatized by violence, individuals who are homeless, and those who are struggling with a mental health crisis or thoughts of suicide, serving them with empathy and commitment to their dignity and intrinsic worth.

REQUIREMENTS
- Orientation or Training
- Shifts will be Monday through Friday, from approximately 5:00pm-8:00pm. Attendance of orientation, training, and shadowing sessions. After completing orientation, at least one shift per week for the first month and two shifts per month thereaft
