While it's not always easy, volunteering for hospice can be very rewarding. We have patients in the Midland area in their own homes and senior living facilities. They'd enjoy someone joining them to play music, watch TV, read a book, or maybe just sit silently with them. We'd never ask you to provide direct care. We'll provide you with training and support you through out the time, we just ask that you set aside at least an hour every other week to spend with your patient (though we'd definitely welcome more). We work with busy schedules, even those that aren't the same each week. See how Residential Hospice raises the bar to care for our patients and families.
I'm sorry we are unable to utilize those seeking to complete court ordered hours.
