Lead guest on a walk to the Farmer's Market and show them all the great weekend spots in Midtown!
This is a unique experience that helps our hostellers interact with other travelers from around the globe, as well as get to know local volunteers and staff.
Farmers Markets are every Saturday from 10:30am -1:30 pm. If you cannot volunteer every Saturday, that is fine, we are flexible!
The benefits of volunteering with HI USA include:

Description
Set in the heart of California's capital city, the Sacramento Hostel is a beautiful Victorian mansion built in 1885 by a Gold Rush millionaire.
Historians know it as the Llewellyn Williams Mansion, but guests know it as one of California's best travel deals and America's most unique hostel. A stay with us is a step back in time -- the restored grand entry, vaulted ceilings, wood paneling, chandeliers, painted glass skylight, and hand-painted tilework all add to the hostel's historic appeal.
The main floor features lavish sitting rooms, a wrap-around veranda, and an outdoor patio, while our guest rooms range from shared rooms to private rooms in a variety of sizes. Practical touches include a fully equipped kitchen, game room, on-site laundry and parking, and free WiFi.
