Do you want to spend your summer in a fun and meaningful way while giving back to your community? Are you between the ages of 13-24?
If so, we invite you to join our Summer Youth Corps program as a Red Cross Donor Ambassador!
Red Cross Donor Ambassadors welcome and greet blood donors and provide excellent and enthusiastic customer service to enhance the donor experience. You will be responsible for escorting donors as necessary and assisting with the initial intake and hand-offs throughout the blood donation process.
Key responsibilities:
- Learn and share the Red Cross story including the mission, vision, and values
- Create a favorable impression of the blood donation process and encourage continued support
- Model excellent customer service behaviors
- Be punctual and dependable
Benefits:
- Earn a letter of reference for your portfolio (great for college applications, future jobs, etc.)
- The ability to build your customer service skills
