If you are interested in volunteer coordinating or a related field, this internship is for you!
In a six-month period, you will learn the necessary skills to become a Volunteer Coordinator with hospice experience. Here are the requirements:
- 10 hours/week in the office
- 1 hour/week spent with patients
- Completion of end-of-course test
You will learn:
- Word, Excel, and Consolo
- Recruitment and retention
- Interacting with volunteers and patients
- Regulations related to coordinating in the field of hospice
- How to maintain volunteer files
- And much more!
At the end of your internship, you will receive a certificate stating that you have had the necessary training to begin volunteer coordinating. You may also request a record of hours and a letter of recommendation. If you have any questions regarding this opportunity, please contact:
