CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS FOR 2022 RED SHOE RUN
Please volunteer at the upcoming 12th Anniversary of RMHCDC Red Shoe Run 5k to help change children's lives. This family-friendly event raises essential funds to help keep sick children close to their families and to the care they need. You can help by volunteering with pre-race preparations, race site set up and/or race day activities. The more volunteers we have, the bigger impact we can all make together.
Contact: Sign up to volunteer at redshoe5k.org
What you'll do: We need volunteers for everything from race preparations, cheering for participants, manning water stations, to assisting with children’s activities.
Any questions? Contact Morgan at mdoxer@rmhcdc.org or 202-424-2707.

Mission Statement
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC, a non-profit, 501 (C) (3), eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children.
Description
We help families struggling with problems like how to stay near and support a hospitalized child, how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment, or even how to get basic medical care in a vulnerable community. We provide solutions for these and other issues related to easing the hardship of children’s illness on families through three core programs that focus on the critical needs of children, celebrating the diversity of the donors who make them possible, staying true to our heritage of responsible stewardship, and operating with accountability and transparency.
Our programs offer help and hope where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHCDC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives in many ways. By volunteering, you can help make that happen.
