Patient Care Volunteers provide support to patients and their families where they live.

You and your canine companion will support patients with friendly visits, in their homes or skilled nursing facilities. The patients we serve are eager to have cheerful visitors from humans and their pups :)

Volunteers must be 18 years old or older. We require an orientation and training, background check, TB screen and flu shot, all of which are provided by Holy Cross Hospice at no cost to you. Dogs must have up-to-date vaccine records.
