On Thursday, April 25, World of Children will be hosting a half-million-dollar gala to raise money that will change the lives of vulnerable children around the world.
The Hero Awards Benefit pays tribute to an extraordinary group of real-life heroes who were previously honored and funded by World of Children.These individuals have shown measurable outcomes and leveraged their recognition and original grant funds to deliver an even more profound impact on vulnerable children.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for rock star, up-and-coming public relations students who are interested in real-life experiences managing our celebrity red carpet, live social media postings throughout the event, and assistance with photography and videography production. Team may also be called upon to assist with other event activities including auction and gift-giving.
PR and Media Relations Volunteers
Team of three (3) PR students that will be assisting with the red carpet, social media and photography needs during the event.
EVENT NIGHT DETAILS
- Call time to report to The London West Hollywood will be 4 p.m.
- The event ends around 9 p.m. and volunteers will be dismissed no later than 10 p.m.
- Volunteers should be available for the entire duration of the six-hour window.
- Dress code is cocktail attire: a work-appropriate party dress for ladies, and a suit for gentlemen is preferred. Comfortable shoes are highly encouraged!
- Dinner will be provided for all volunteers.
- Complimentary valet parking will be provided. We encourage you to carpool, if possible.
- Internship hours and a letter of recommendation can be provided, upon request.
