At Ascend Hospice, we service both patients and their families in facilities and private homes all over the Kansas City area in both MO & KS. We invite you to share the bond between you and your pet as pet therapy helps to encourage movement and physical stimulation in hospice patients. It also provides numerous mental benefits for hospice patients including socialization, mental stimulation, companionship, and love.
Requirements include: you pet must have proof of current pet certification and human volunteer must be at least 18 years of age.

With offices in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Missouri, California and Virginia, the company currently provides care for approximately 850 patients in nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, hospitals and private homes.
