The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be hosting our annual Fundraiser in Eugene, OR on Thursday, June 2, 2022 and we are looking for volunteers to help before and during the event. This event supports NWABA’s on-going sports and recreation programs to individuals with a visual impairment. Positions for volunteers include: set-up, event registration, silent auction help and more. The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life. Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
