Although we are on hold with on site volunteering - we are looking to add Pet visitors and therapy dog volunteers to our program. We are hoping to have volunteers back after the first of the year. But we can get you started with the process now.

Is your doggy a certified therapy dog?

We are looking for Certified therapy dogs and handlers to provide visits to our patients and staff. Handler and Dog must complete and maintain certification from either pet partners or therapy dogs international. Handler would also need to complete the volunteer requirements - application and orientation process; background checks and associate health requirements. Other documentation needed would include the dog's most recent vet visit - up to date vaccination records - and negative stool sample results

Volunteer Handlers/Dogs are assigned to either an inpatient unit or outpatient department to visit with patients, families and staff of that area.
