As a patient volunteer you give comfort and support to someone with a life limiting illness.
Volunteers are an important part of the Hospice Care Team. Volunteers might chat with a patient, read them a book, play music, or just give the family caregiver a much deserved break, or just something as simple as holding a patient's hand. The patients we care for are living at either at home or a nursing facility. We provide full training and support. A six month commitment is requested. Volunteers who are willing to commute to the San Fernando Valley and South Bay region will receive priority consideration for this position. We look forward to hearing from you!
